What are some examples of a Male only flower? Female only Flower?

I know that almost all flowers are "perfect".

Just need a few names/examples of male and female flowers.

thanks

Holly trees come in male and female. So do some strawberries. And ginko trees -- the fruit of the female ginko tree is so smelly that many cities only allow the male trees to be planted.

Reply:The cucumber family have imperfect flowers or separate male and female flowers. Therefore cucumbers, watermelons, pumkins and squash all have separate male and female flowers.
Reply:in Carica papaya, also known as papaya, there is a male and a female flower, in a separate plant. The one that bears fruit is the female papaya plant but the male flower has fragrant aroma compare to the female.

Another plant which has a separate male and female flower is the squash, or the Cucurbita maxima.
Reply:I usually call them dimorphic flowers and living in New Zealand we have an unsually high percentage of flowers that are dimorphic ( eg 18%)

I am pretty sure that kiwifruit are dimorphic.....just ot point out us kiwis ( people) call them kiwifruit to avoid confuction with us kiwis and the kiwi ( kiwi the bird) which is why kiwi people are named kiwis after the bird kiwi. Ironically the kiwifruit is not from New Zealand but China ( were called chinese gooseberries).....

Maybe you could look up a search engine and type in the key words....i just did and came up with a few exmaples.
