Name a flower which opens at night only ?
I lived in Florida for a short spell once and remember people doing a nightwatch vigil to see this flower that only bloomed one night a year. I don't remember the name but it might be the one in the above answer.

Here is a site I found by googing night blooming flowers

Edit Yes...Queen of the night, here's the only pic I could find. It's a small pic but you can see what it looks like.

Reply:Moonflower. Ipomea Alba. It's easy to grow. It's actually a night blooming member of the morning glory family. It takes about 3 months to bloom so you still have time if you plant it now. That's maybe TMI but it's one of my favorites. It smells wonderful. Grows from seed. You'll love it.

2)Selenicereus-queen of the night (This flower blooms for one night only)

3)Angel's Trumpet (Datura inoxia)

4)Moonflower (Ipomoea Alba

5)Four-O-Clock (Mirabilis Jalapa).
Reply:I was thinking Moonflower.
