Reply:I believe you are looking for a plant called a bleeding heart. They are quite popular in hanging baskets around here. I have never seen a bush althought farther south than Minnesota they may plant them in the ground.
Reply:It's called a bleeding heart. Not really a bush though. More of a woody plant.
Reply:I believe what you are looking for is called a bleeding heart. They grow back every year. I have them in my yard, I love them.
Reply:Bleeding heart, or dysentra. Native to the woodlands in North America. In the wild they grow to about 18" max. and can be propogated only from seed. They do not transplant well. Cultivars from nurseries are much larger and can reach a height of about 3'. Their leaf structure is much broader, the flowers as well, and have much more vibrant colour to them.
Reply:Not sure, but it MIGHT be Fuschia, they're native to California.

Looks similiar to bleeding heart, I'm in FLA, and some people call bleeding heart, fuschia, but they're two different plants.
