Name this flower?

Can you help me figure out what type of flower this is?

It's driving me nuts! I love this type of flower but no one can figure out what it is.

Name this flower?
Looks like Periwinkle to me....
Reply:how about a color?
Reply:I'm pretty sure its vinca. I think there are different types of vinca, some are also called periwinkle and are more of a groundcover with purple flowers, and then there are types sold as annual flowers and are in more colors, pinks, whites, etc, and some have that strip down the petal like in the picture. All vinca have 5 petal flowers.

Reply:I am thinking that is a black and white picture of phlox. It is an annual and perennial depending on where you live and the variety. There is tall garden phlox, spreading phlox, wild phlox...you get the idea.
Reply:i'm not sure that's an actual photo, but to me it looks like a morning glory.
