What kind of flower is this?

http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1309/6122...

I have several of these flowering plants come up every year. They may be weeds but the flowers are so pretty, I have kept them. I'd just like to know that their name is! :)

What kind of flower is this?
ST JOHNSWART Hypericacae, or Hypericum.
Reply:They're a member of the buttercup family, I have them in my yard and each spring they have tons of yellow cups/flowers.
Reply:Evening Primrose or Missouri Primrose. They are a perrineal and will return every year.
Reply:I have those in my garden, they are primroses.
Reply:My grandpa used to grow them every year and he called them prim roses.
Reply:It is not a primrose it is a type of hypericum. Probably calycinum. But there is also hypericum Blue Velvet, the leaves have a bluish color hence the name.
