What is the name of this flower? http://www.flickr.com/photos/w...

The one in the center left is named Sally. The one on her right is Beatrice, and next to B. is Karen.



Rexford is in profile, and his brother James is about to open. I couldn't quite recognize the on on the far right. It could be Samuel or Joshua.



They look like they are all Petunia. x hybrid is thought the be a hybridization between P. auxiliaries and P. integral. The leaves have a very distinctive smell.

Glad you like it. It's great fun to do when your with kids. Just make all their last names the name of the flower and they will learn something too.

Reply:You need a more head on shot of both the leaves and the flowers...but it looks like a species of geranium

Reply:Petunia for sure, had the same kind, if you look closely you will be able to see dark pink veins in the lighter pink petals. They are easy to find at most nurseries and garden shops. Look nice in planters.
