Is there a flower that starts with the letter A?

I need to find a flower that starts with the letter A, to give as a gift to a person who's name begins with A.

Is there a flower that starts with the letter A?
There are several "A" flowers, but most are more the kind of flower you'd have in your garden than the kind you'd buy at the florist.

Still, here are a few:

Azalea

Anemone (not a sea anemone! It's a kind of buttercup)

African daisy

African violet (could buy them one in a pot as a houseplant)

Aster

Aloe

Wikipedia has a nice list of flowering plants arranged alphabetically, but some of the "A" names are the scientific rather than the common name.

You'll find a version of this list of flower meanings on hundreds of different websites; it's taken from the Victorian-era study of floriography where romantics used flowers to convey secret messages to one another.

Astilbe is just coming into bloom. My favorite is Astilbe pumila chinensis with very dark fine foliage that blooms with compact plum blossoms.
