Does anyone know the names of some of trees that give off pink or other colorful Flowers?

I live in southern California in San Bernardino. Does anyone know where i can find some nice and colorful trees that have flowers that as really breath taking, or that transform the entire tree into a single color. I was thinking Pink would be nice. so if anyone could just give me the names of some trees i'll research them. Thank you!

I can only think of one at the mo and that's a Cherry Blossom which gives a beautiful show of pink petals. Also comes in white.
Reply:dogwood
Reply:Cherry trees give off a beautiful pink blossum, Spring Dogwood tree has either white or pink blossums, Redbud trees here in PA have red blossums, very pretty. In the South, you have Crepe Myrtles, which have a rose/pink blossum.
Reply:I am not sure what your Zone is like, but my favorite has always been Crabapple trees. Pink or white flowers in bloom, small red apples (tart) when ripe, and ohhhh so fragrant. :)
Reply:Magnolia and dogwood
Reply:I live in southern Louisiana and nothing is as pretty as the dogwoods-they bloom in either pink or white. Also there is the cherry blossom (pink) and bradford pear tree (white). I am not sure about your climate, but magnolia trees are goregous when in full bloom and they stay green year round.
