Why not tulip for example, or does anyone know a tulip?
Why are some flowers OK for girls names and not others?
apparently long ago different flowers had different meanings

Reply:I don't know. I expect it is the same as why some girl's are named after the months in the year. I have a friend called May and my late mother was called June
